Finnish symphonic metallers Nightwish have revealed that their new album will be titled Yesterwynde, and will arrive on September 20 via Nuclear Blast.

Coming four years after their last album, 2020's HVMAN. :||: NATVRE, the band promise that the record will have an optimistic slant, despite writing beginning partially out of boredom born of isolation in lockdown.

"Yesterwynde is a fantastical voyage through time, memory, and the better angels of human nature," says keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen. "Three years in the making, we're thrilled beyond words to soon share our 10th album with the world!"

The first look at music will arrive on May 21, with the release of the single Perfume Of The Timeless.
