Bring Me The Horizon Score Second Gold Record In The U.S.

Congrats, chaps.

Bring Me The Horizon Score Second Gold Record In The U.S.

After landing a Gold record in the United States with 2013's incredible Sempiternal, Bring Me The Horizon have now scored their second with 2015's That's The Spirit.

According to the RIAA, as of June 6 the band's fifth full-length has officially shifted an impressive 500,000 units. Amazing work, guys! Very well deserved.

Seems like the perfect time to think about the band stepping up to headline festivals as well then, right?

Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows certainly thinks so, telling NME that BMTH deserve a top spot on the Download bill: “I think Bring Me The Horizon can do it,” he says. “I think they’re a band that has a deep connection with the UK audience and I see it. We travel the world and we see how these bands are bigger in some places and smaller in others. I think Bring Me The Horizon does it right in the UK and always play hard to whatever audience is in front of them. They’ve got the songs. Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine also just get higher and higher on the bill at Download.”
