A mysterious Slipknot billboard has appeared in California
A billboard has appeared near the site of Coachella in California hinting at some rather exciting Slipknot news – but what does it all mean?
Rising Aberdeen rockers announce their new EP and hit the road today.
Have you checked out Cold Years yet? If not, now is the time to put that right.
Kerrang! is proud to premiere the band's new single, Miss You To Death, taken from the Aberdeen-based quartet's forthcoming EP Northern Blue, which is due out on March 02, 2018.
If you're into punk, Americana and blues-based rock (think bands like The Gaslight Anthem, Off With Their Heads and Lucero), this lot should be right up your straße. Check it out below.
Northern Blue will be the band's third EP, and further proof that they might just be the UK's best kept secret.
On Miss You To Death, vocalist and guitarist Ross Gordon comments, "I remember sitting alone one night and all these images of my childhood just flashed through my head: things like playing pool with your dad on a Saturday night at, like, 5 years old, while records are playing in the background.
“It’s weird how you hold all those old songs close to you, and they take you back to specific moments in your life. That kind of set the tone for the whole of our new record. We really wanted to push ourselves as musicians, and I feel that we did that. Everyone had such a huge part in shaping this sound. It’s so much fun to play, and we can’t wait to play it live!”
Miss You To Death is available digitally on December 08. Cold Years head out on tour today for co-headline shows with Dearist. Catch them at the following:
