The 60th Grammy Awards take place this January and there's a strong rock and metal showing.

Foo Fighters, Code Orange, Metallica and Avenged Sevenfold are just some of the names among the nominations for the 60th annual Grammy Awards. The event is set to take place on Sunday, January 28 at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City.

There's also nominations for August Burns Red, Nothing More, Mastodon and Chris Cornell, which is a fitting tribute to the late singer.
