See How Billie Joe Armstrong's Guitar Went On Display At The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame have posted a really cool clip of the journey of Billie Joe Armstrong's 1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior.

From being used in American Idiot recording sessions, to being played in front of thousands of people in Green Day's 2005 Bullet In A Bible DVD, to now being placed safely in the Rock Hall's Guitar Gallery, this instrument has been on one hell of a ride.

"Billie Joe of Green Day's 1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior was part of the American Idiot recording sessions and tour, and now you can see how it went on display as part of our Guitar Gallery," the Rock Hall tweeted.

Lovely stuff. Check it out below – and enjoy a bit of Jesus Of Suburbia at the same time…

You can see BJA's trusty Les Paul – along with many more amazing guitars – in Cleveland, Ohio. Check out what else is on show at the Guitar Gallery here.

Green Day (deservedly) joined the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2015.
