This Organ Made Of Furbys Is Very Metal

The stuff that nightmares are made of.

Sam Battle, the mad scientist behind YouTube channel "Look Mum No Computer," has built the world's first fully functional Furby Organ -- yes, a musical instrument built entirely out of Furby toys. The result is a terrifying chorus of tortured Gizmo-like souls begging for death -- a sound far creepier and disturbing than any death or black metal track.

Perhaps even more impressive than the pained, hellish noises that this Franken-organ makes is the amount of time and money Battle required to built it. He hasn't disclosed just how much he's shelled out (though he admits the organ was "expensive" and he "spent quite a lot of money on Furbies"), but it took him seven long years to realize his dream. That's because he had to hunt down and purchase all 44 of the Furbies from eBay and thrift shops, and then carefully open, rewire, and solder each one to a motherboard controlled by his keyboard.

Why, you may ask, would this person do such a thing? As Sam explained to Vice.com, "Why not?"

We respect your reasoning, Sam. We don't understand you -- but we respect you.
