SOAD and Deftones are playing a very special co-headline gig
Whoa! System Of A Down and Deftones have just announced a one-night-only co-headline date at the historic Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
"You wanted to!"
On a Saturday Night Live skit over the weekend, actress/comedian Tina Fey and SNL's Melissa Villaseñor sang along to System Of A Down's Chop Suey!.
The pair, playing mother and daughter, were competing in a talent show, with Tina's character wanting them to perform Cindy Lauper's Girls Want To Have Fun together. As you can see, though, System's Toxicity hit eventually became the song of choice…
It's nothing on Serj Tankian, obviously, but we appreciate the effort nonetheless.
To hear Chop Suey! from the band's mouths, rather than on SNL, catch SOAD live at the following this year:
October
13 San Bernardino Glen Helen Amphitheater
14 Sacramento Aftershock Festival
16 Phoenix Talking Stick Resort Arena
17 San Diego Valley View Casino Center
19 Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena
