Danny Zuko is back, people!

Watch John Travolta Join Foo Fighters Onstage

Some words we were definitely not expecting to type today: John Travolta – aka musical heartthrob Danny Zuko – joined Foo Fighters onstage in Jacksonville while the band were performing a Grease cover.

The rock titans were teasing the intro to You're The One That I Want (what an absolute tune, eh?) at Florida's Welcome To Rockville, when frontman Dave Grohl revealed: "It gets better!" and the actor strolled out onstage to a mind-blown audience.

While John Travolta's cameo didn't include any actual singing (boo), it was a pretty damn exciting appearance nonetheless – and it's kinda got us wanting a proper collaboration between them. It's been reported that John was in town to work with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst on upcoming thriller Moose.

Just amazing.

Foo Fighters were also joined onstage at Rockville by Billy Idol… because of course they were:

Foo Fighters will return to the UK in the summer when they play three huge stadium shows in London and Manchester.

Those dates look like this:

June

19 Manchester Etihad Stadium
22 London Stadium
23 London Stadium
