Exclusive! Watch The Sci-Fi-Tastic New SHVPES Video!

Brit metal crew SHVPES have released the first video from their forthcoming EP, Mixtape 1, due on July 6 via Spinefarm/Search And Destroy. As you can see, the clip for Undertones is like '80s sci-fi set to a killer metal soundtrack.

“Undertones is very different to anything you would have heard us do before, but we think it’s our best work to date," says frontman Griffin Dickinson. "It’s about the phrase 'Revenge is a dish best served cold...' When people mess you about in life and you wait to seek retribution when it suits you. Whether that be through success, legal proceedings, whatever. It’s about the pleasure and control in doing things on your own terms.”

The EP will drop on July 6 on all digital platforms, as well as tape. It will be followed through the year by two mall Mixtape installments, eventually being collated into a full album.
