Listen To Weezer’s Uplifting New Song Weekend Woman

Move over Autumn blues, Weezer are still injecting some sunshine.

Ahead of the release of their highly anticipated new album, Pacific Daydream, Weezer have revealed a new tune from the LP - and it’s a pretty uplifting number.

Talking about the record, vocalist and guitarist, Rivers Cuomo said: “Once upon a time, I, Chuang Chou, dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Chou. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”

It’s as jangly as Weezer gets, and if you’re not ready for the autumn blues (they’re definitely on the way) then this latest track will brighten your spirits.
