Ahead of the release of their second album Shapeshifter – coming on October 13 via Rise – Chicago quintet Knuckle Puck have popped out a new video, for Double Helix.

The track is song three of ten on the imminent LP, which you can pre-order here. Check it out below.

Of Shapeshifter, guitarist Nick Casasanto says:

“I hope the album instils a little bit of hope in people. You look at politics, and how fast the world is now, everything the internet is bringing to the world. It’s difficult to form an identity when there’s so much in your face. I hope people realise they should consume the things that really speak to them. Through that, I feel like it’s the most satisfying way to be who you want.”

Knuckle Puck play the following UK dates, supported by Tiny Moving Parts, Have Mercy, and Movements:

December

7: Nottingham, Rescue Rooms
8: Leeds, Key Club
9: Glasgow, SWG3
10: Newcastle, Riverside
12: Manchester, Club Academy
13: Bristol, Fleece
14: Southampton, 1865
15: London, Electric Ballroom
