Hear that massive booming noise first thing this morning? That was Knocked Loose's 5/5-rated new album You Won't Go Before You're Supposed To finally dropping. It's well heavy, see. Here's a banging cut from it featuring ultra-weighty grooves, a load of discordant guitar screeches, and one Chris Motionless. Turn it up, and feel a Knocked Loose-shaped boot being pressed into your arse. Wonderful.

Stand Atlantic – LOVE U ANYWAY

Stand Atlantic have been beavering away for what feels like ages on their new album, WAS HERE. The bits they've thrown out so far have all been great and worth the patience, though, like this one, built on honey-sweet melody and catchier than a champion fisherman.

Vended – Nihilism

The gobby aggro Vended cook up is just built for festival stages. The raging Nihilism is very heavy, very energised, and very shouty, but you can fully imagine it sounding great in the baking heat of Download. Smashing stuff.
