An absolutely colossal new festival called Power Trip is being teased by some of rock and metal’s biggest bands.

AC/DC, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Tool have all posted about this mysterious event, which reportedly will be a new version of previous California fest Desert Trip from promoting giants Goldenvoice (according to Variety).

Desert Trip’s inaugural bill in 2016 included the likes of The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and Neil Young, while Power Trip is clearly a much heavier affair – though it’ll still take place at the original Desert Trip (and Coachella) location, Empire Polo Field in California.

The first official announcement is coming on Thursday, March 30, and if the teasers are all correct, then Power Trip will host AC/DC’s first show since 2016, as well as Ozzy Osbourne’s first live dates since he sadly cancelled his No More Tours II.

Power Trip is reportedly set to take place from October 6 – 8.
