AC/DC Will "Absolutely" Tour Again With Brian Johnson

After last week's exciting news that AC/DC have been in the studio "doing something", there's now even more promising things to come from the rock titans.

A source close to the band has revealed that frontman Brian Johnson is not only recording a new record with AC/DC – he will also "absolutely" be touring with them (the singer had to exit the band in 2016 after suffering serious problems with his hearing, and was replaced by Guns N’ Roses' Axl Rose for the subsequent tour).

“I have sources that have told me that they are absolutely going to tour with Brian back again,” says DJ Eddie Trunk. “That’s all unconfirmed from their camp, but I had it from some reliable sources.

“I think it’s pretty much a done deal that AC/DC, at the very least, are going to release some sort of record and it’ll be some sort of tribute to [late guitarist] Malcolm [Young], just like Back In Black was a tribute to Bon [Scott]. So I have no doubt about that and I’m pretty confident they’re probably going to do shows as well, but I think at this point it’s pretty much just when they announce it.”

Listen to Eddie's comments below.

When AC/DC's longtime engineer Mike Fraser was asked in a recent interview with Mastering Music Mastering Life if there’s a new AC/DC album – the follow-up to 2014’s Rock Or Bust – in the works, he cryptically said: “Well, yeah, I could say that we’ve been in the studio doing something. What’s come of that I can’t discuss yet…”

Mike also teased, “I think so…” when asked if the new full-length includes Brian Johnson on vocals.

Bring. It. On.
