Check Out Five-Year-Old Viral Drummer Caleb Hanging Out With Slipknot

One of the coolest young Maggots ever got to meet his heroes on the UK leg of Slipknot's We Are Not Your Kind tour.

There are, of course, many reasons we love it when Slipknot hit the road. But one of the best – and most adorable – things that has come out of the Iowa titans' recent We Are Not Your Kind tour is five-year-old drummer Caleb H., who went viral thanks to a video his air-drumming talents at a UK show.

First, the amazing Caleb hit every single beat as he smashed the crap out of the air during Psychosocial while watching on from the audience, before taking the Internet by storm once more when footage surfaced of the young sticksman performing a drum cover of Before I Forget dressed as former ’Knot drummer Joey Jordison. Things got even better for Caleb as Slipknot hit Birmingham later in the week, though, as he was invited along to the show to not only meet the band and watch Jay Weinberg onstage within touching distance, but also to get his very own pieces of kit courtesy of SJC Drums.

"Yesterday was the most amazing experience for Caleb!" tweeted his mum, who runs the five-year-old's Twitter account. "We can’t thank Jay Weinberg, Slipknot and SJC Drums enough for the whole experience! Dreams definitely came true yesterday and memories that will last forever."

"It was such a blast inviting this young shredder Caleb to last night’s show in Birmingham," posted Jay. "Ready to throw down on his new SJC Drums snare and Foundation double pedal!!"

"The band got Caleb an awesome treat," added bassist V-Man. "It’s incredible to see so much passion at an early age. Mum and dad… high five!!" We couldn't agree more.

Check out Caleb's adventures with the ’Knot below. It's good to know that if Jay ever fancies a night off, the show would still be in safe hands thanks to this awesome guy…
