GEL announce debut album Only Constant

Hardcore upstarts GEL will release their highly-anticipated debut album Only Constant this March – listen to new single Attainable.

New Jersey hardcore crew GEL have announced details of their debut album, Only Constant.

Having made waves throughout the American underground since their formation in 2019, the ferocious five-piece are gearing up to unleash a 16-minute blast of righteous fury on March 31.

Speaking about GEL's visceral yet accessible sound, vocalist Sami Kaiser says they want the band to be "a vehicle for chaos and community to unfold".

They continue, “I love when you can see it resonating for people at the shows and it can be a reason for people to feel comfortable expressing themselves in their own way.”

Addressing the lyrical content of Only Constant, Sami says, "I've learned a lot about myself and how to address negative feelings... The album is about trying to let go of those self-destructive tendencies and embrace change."

Check out the video for debut single Attainable below, filmed at Subterranean in Chicago.
