Kids In Glass Houses announce 15th anniversary reissue of Smart Casual

Kids In Glass Houses are re-releasing their debut album Smart Casual to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

To celebrate the 15-year anniversary of debut album Smart Casual, recently reunited Welsh alt.rockers Kids In Glass Houses have announced a special reissue across limited-edition vinyl and cassette.

Ahead of their long-awaited comeback sets at Slam Dunk Festival this weekend, KIGH's Top 30 full-length is now available to pre-order in clear vinyl and a range of coloured cassettes. The reissue will be released on October 13.

"Writing, recording and touring Smart Casual was our John Hughes coming-of-age era and it’s hard to believe it’s been 15 years," says frontman Aled Phillips. "Getting back together with the boys in a room and celebrating those songs that carry so much meaning for us has been such a privilege, and it’s been so humbling reading and speaking to people who have an affinity to those songs.

"We’ve wanted to give the album a wider vinyl release for a long while and to have our very talented friend Romesh [Dodagonda] remix and remaster the album to celebrate 15 years has been an incredible bonus. I genuinely believe it sounds better than ever and I’m excited for everyone to hear a fresh perspective on it that enhances it.”

Tantalisingly, the band also say that fans who pre-order Smart Casual from KIGH's store will "have access to any future possible tour dates before anyone else".
