Malevolence unveil ‘official collab’ with bootleggers selling their merch

After discovering bootleggers selling unofficial Malevolence merch in Milan, the band have “decided to play them at their own game” by releasing their own shirt at the same price.

Malevolence have ‘collabed’ with some bootleggers in Italy to launch an official-unofficial new T-shirt.

While on tour with Trivium on their epic UK and European run, the Sheffield metal heroes were seemingly thrilled to discover that outside the Alcatraz venue in Milan on February 19, their very own bootleg merch was being sold.

“First ever Malevolence bootleggers in Milan last night!” they posted. “They pulled up right outside the tour bus. We’ve officially made it!”

Taking the whole thing in incredibly good humour, Malev have since gone on to actually create one of the bootleg shirts of their own, calling it ‘The Malev X Milan Bootleggers official collab’. This way, if you like the look of the one the bootleggers were selling, profits will actually go to the band. Oh, and it’s the same price as the original bootleg tee too, so there’s really no reason not to.

“So many people hit us up about the green shirt from our last post that we decided to play them at their own game and we’re matching their price too,” reads the description.
