Meet Me @ The Altar have announced two UK headline shows

Meet Me @ The Altar have been playing everywhere since the release of this year’s Past // Present // Future, and they’ve lined up a couple more UK shows in the summer…

It’s been a ridiculously busy time for Meet Me @ The Altar following the release of their ace debut album Past // Present // Future, and the trio are still adding more tour dates to their calendar.

The pop-punk stars have just announced two more headline shows for the summer, following their scheduled appearances at Reading & Leeds. After MM@TA play the iconic UK fests, they’ll head to the Manchester Deaf Institute on August 29, and then the London Underworld in Camden on August 31.

Catch MM@TA at the following UK dates:

August

25 Reading Festival
26 Leeds Festival
29 Manchester Deaf Institute
31 London Underworld

Speaking to Kerrang! earlier this year about their big ambitions as a band on Past // Present // Future, vocalist Edith Victoria enthused: “As artists we never want to create the same thing for the rest of our lives. Some bands are like, ‘Okay, I wanna do something different now,’ and their fanbase completely freaks out. The reaction is so terrible – like, ‘Oh, they sold out,’ or, ‘Oh, I hate this and I wish it was like that…’ Because the bands have boxed themselves in by creating two or three records that sound the same and that are very niche in a way, and then when they want to try something else most of their fanbase doesn’t fuck with it, and that sucks.

“I feel like our first record is so diverse, and people won’t be surprised as to where we go to next because it’s such a foundation of everything.”
