Misery Loves Company festival returns for 2024 with The Hunna, Employed To Serve and more

The first wave of acts have been announced for this year’s Misery Loves Company, with The Hunna headlining and the likes of Employed To Serve, BLACKGOLD and Death Goals also on the line-up.

Following a successful launch last year, Misery Loves Company will return in 2024.

The festival – which focuses on diversity and gender equality – is set to hit SWX and The Station in Bristol on September 28, with The Hunna announced as first headliners. Also on the bill so far are Employed To Serve, BLACKGOLD, Death Goals, Every Hell, Gen And The Degenerates, Knives, North Atlas and Saint Agnes.

As well as working hard to achieve at least 50 per cent split on their line-up (indeed, 2023 had 52 per cent of acts with a female and/or non-binary member), Misery Loves Company also focus on mental health, and have again partnered with non-profit organisation Heads Above The Waves this year.

“We’re so excited to get to team up with the Misery Loves Company gang again this year to continue to build on the foundation of last year’s event,” reads a statement from the charity. “There’s already some great plans coming together, and we’re so stoked that MLC has wellbeing at its very core. We’re all on the same page in that regard, and we’re looking forward to bringing an event together that’s going to help everyone from artists to the audience find healthy ways to keep their heads above the waves.”
