Ozzy Cancels Trip To Switzerland For Medical Treatment Due To Coronavirus Lockdown

Unfortunately, The Price Of Darkness will not be flying to Switzerland just yet for his Parkinson's disease medical treatment.

Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that Ozzy's planned trip to Switzerland in April for medical treatment has been cancelled due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The Prince Of Darkness was scheduled to fly to Europe to begin treatment for his Parkinson's disease on April 8, but he'll now have to be home a little while longer until it is safe to travel.

“We had to cancel our trip to Switzerland. We were meant to go on April 8 for his treatment, but we had to cancel," Sharon said on her CBS show The Talk.

“We’re just hanging in like everybody else – just trying to stay away and be quiet and just hold in there. I honestly find this such frightening times. I just think it's a really, really frightening time to be alive.”

The news follows Ozzy's daughter Kelly's wishes for everyone to stay at home for the sake of her dad.

“I wish there was something I could say to comfort you all," she said. "Some wisdom I could drop on you to relive you from the fear that surrounds us all right now. The truth is I am scared too. Both of my parents are high risk especially my dad. If I would have known 3 weeks ago when I sent them off to Panama that that was gonna be the last time I got to hug and kiss them for a while… I would have held on a little longer. However these are the sacrifices we must make. I stay home for my mum and dad. If you don’t have anyone to stay home for I beg you."
