Pale Waves to headline Manchester’s Neighbourhood Festival

Neighbourhood Festival have announced their first wave of bands – and it’s going to be a homecoming special for Manchester’s Pale Waves!

Massive multivenue Manchester fest Neighbourhood has announced its first wave of bands.

The big city bash – which takes place on Saturday, October 5 – will be headlined by local stars Pale Waves, while elsewhere the line-up includes The Mysterines, ADMT, Louis Dunford, Antony Szmierek, Seb Lowe and plenty of others. Neighbourhood will host over 100 artists throughout the day, across various venues in Manchester – from the Academy to the Deaf Institute, the O2 Ritz, YES, Albert Hall and many more.

For Pale Waves, this UK appearance will follow their debut sets at Slam Dunk Festival at the end of May. Get those tickets now.

Speaking to Kerrang!, singer Heather Baron-Gracie explained that achievements like these are great markers for the band to see what they’re at: “When you’re in something, you can lose track, or it can become difficult to see where you actually are as a band,” she said. “Growing up, these are the bands we’d listen to, Kerrang! was the magazine we’d buy. So, getting to play Slam Dunk or be on the K! cover tend to be some of those real, ‘Wow, we’ve made it!’ moments. They help put things in perspective.”
