Slipknot Announce First Bands For Knotfest Japan 2020

The first few bands for Slipknot's epic Knotfest Japan 2020 have been revealed.

While Slipknot still have a couple of remaining U.S. shows to get through before they hit Australia and New Zealand next month supporting Metallica, the Iowa titans have announced even more performances for next year: their huge Knotfest in Japan.

The ’Knot will be taking on the Makuhari Messe near Tokyo, Japan for two nights on March 20 and 21, 2020, and they've announced that Anthrax and Korn will be joining them, too.

More bands are set to be announced, of course, bearing in mind that the band's upcoming Knotfests in Mexico and Colombia have colossal line-ups featuring the likes of Behemoth, Evanescence, Bullet For My Valentine, Rob Zombie and more. So will we be seeing any crossover in Japan? You never know…

“It feels good to be coming back for an extensive tour of Europe and the UK,” says frontman Corey Taylor. “No matter how many times we come there, it always feels like we can never get enough, nor play all the cities we want to. But one thing’s for certain: the audiences are always some of the best in the world.”
