Taylor Swift Says Fall Out Boy's Songwriting Influenced Her "More Than Anyone Else"

Pop megastar Taylor Swift has been singing Fall Out Boy's praises in a new interview.

It's been six whole years since pop megastar Taylor Swift joined forces with Fall Out Boy at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to perform My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light ’Em Up) together, and now Taylor has once again been singing the Chicago pop-punks' praises.

In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Taylor has professed her love for Pete, Patrick, Andy and Joe by revealing that their songwriting has influenced her "more than anyone else", before referencing lyrics from 2005's From Under The Cork Tree mega-hit Sugar, We're Goin Down.

When asked about a song on her new album Lover titled Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, it's put to the singer that her "Fall Out Boy fandom might’ve slipped out in that title".

"I love Fall Out Boy so much," she responds. "Their songwriting really influenced me, lyrically, maybe more than anyone else. They take a phrase and they twist it. 'Loaded God complex / Cock it and pull it'? When I heard that, I was like, 'I’m dreaming.'"

Given her huge collaboration with Panic! At The Disco's Brendon Urie earlier in the year on the single ME!, as well as Fall Out Boy's willingness to work with everyone from Elton John (on 2013's Save Rock And Roll) to Wyclef Jean on new song Dear Future Self (Hands Up), we're betting a proper collaboration could well happen one day. Imagine…

Anyway, here's that Fall Out Boy and TaySway performance from 2013, if you need a reminder:
