Watch Chris Cornell’s Daughter Toni Cover Temple Of The Dog’s Hunger Strike

Toni Cornell covered Temple Of The Dog's classic Hunger Strike for COVID-19 relief efforts.

Chris Cornell's daughter Toni has performed a beautiful cover of Temple Of The Dog's Hunger Strike for LiveXLive's Music Lives recent COVID-19 relief benefit.

Toni took part in the coronavirus fundraising event, which involved two days of non-stop livestream performances from April 17-19, for the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, covering the supergroup's – featuring her late father, plus Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament, Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready and guest vocalist Eddie Vedder – most well-known track, taken from their 1991 self-titled LP.

"Hi, I'm Toni Cornell," she says at the beginning of her performance of the Temple Of The Dog classic. "I'm sitting in my dad's studio during this crazy time. I'm gonna sing one of my favourite songs for you guys. I love you, daddy, and I hope I do this some justice."

And this isn't the first time Toni has done her bit for charity; in fact, in March, she donated $20,000 from the proceeds of her and Chris' stunning cover of Prince and Sinead O’Connor’s Nothing Compares 2 U to the International Rescue Committee.
