Watch Fall Out Boy perform Stereo Hearts and Cupid’s Chokehold with Travie McCoy

See Fall Out Boy bring out Gym Class Heroes’ Travie McCoy at the Queens, New York date of their So Much For (Tour) Dust for a couple of very special covers…

Fall Out Boy’s current So Much For (Tour) Dust has surprised and delighted fans in equal measure – and last night’s show in New York continued that theme spectacularly.

At the Forest Hills Stadium in Queens on August 1, the band brought out longtime friend Travie McCoy of hip-hop/rock faves Gym Class Heroes for two very special (partial) covers: up first they played 2011 mega-hit Stereo Hearts – which originally featured Maroon 5’s Adam Levine – followed by 2005 classic Cupid’s Chokehold. Of course, that track famously features vocals from the one and only Patrick Stump!

As well as sending the crowd delirious with his surprise appearance, according to @fobtours Travie also confirmed that Gym Class Heroes were properly coming back. They’ll be playing October’s massive When We Were Young in Las Vegas, but hopefully that means there’s new music coming, too…
