Watch Machine Gun Kelly And YUNGBLUD Cover Oasis' Champagne Supernova

Machine Gun Kelly and YUNGBLUD covered Oasis' Champagne Supernova as part of MGK's #LockdownSessions

The next instalment of Machine Gun Kelly's #LockdownSessions has arrived, with the musician taking on a hearfelt cover of Oasis' classic Champagne Supernova alongside YUNGBLUD.

Having already joined forces with pal and blink-182 drummer Travis Barker for an energetic rendition of Paramore's Misery Business, now the rapper has recruited his friend and collaborator Yungblud for a more stripped-down and UK-focussed cover.

"This one's for my folks across the pond," wrote Machine Gun Kelly, while YUNGBLUD then added, "What we gonna do next???"

Given that Oasis themselves even approved this new rendition of their (What's The Story) Morning Glory? classic single, it's definitely fair to assume that the musicians will be looking at what they can work on together while in lockdown next.

While Machine Gun Kelly has been keeping busy doing these covers at home, he also made an appearance in YUNGBLUD's Shit's Weird – Keep Calm And Carry On livestream concert last month.

"The world is in a very weird time at the moment,” YUNGBLUD said. “Everyone doesn’t know what to do or where to turn. it’s like we are all trapped in a glass or perspex box whilst someone is playing a trick on us. My shows were getting cancelled left right and centre.

“I miss the energy, I miss the connection, I miss my fans and family,” he continued. “We need each other more than ever right now and having the opportunity to interact with them taken away from me fully wasn’t even an option for me!"
