Watch Scott Ian's Son Play Everlong Onstage With Foo Fighters

Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian watched with joy as his son shreds Everlong onstage with Foo Fighters

It must be pretty awesome to have a rock star for a dad. You get to wear battle jackets to school, listen to metal as loud as you want, and occasionally travel the world to watch your old man shred in front of thousands of screaming fans.

And, you might get to meet your favourite band from time to time.

Revel, young son of Anthrax's Scott Ian, was lucky enough to do just that last week. But not only did he get to meet Foo Fighters, he played alongside Dave Grohl and co. live onstage at Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville, Kentucky.

Like any proud parent, Scott shared Revel's performance of Everlong on his Instagram. It's fair to say, the kid can play!

"There goes my hero!" reads Scott's post. "Proudest dad moment ever? How about when your son gets to join his favorite band on stage to play Everlong in front of 40,000 people and NAILS IT! Thank you Dave, Taylor, Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Gus, Kerwin, Sean, Patrick, Simone and everyone else on the Foo crew for being the best!!!"
