beabadoobee shares unreleased song during Tiny Desk Concert

beabadoobee recently took part in NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series – and not only is it a typically wonderful performance, but she also shared a surprise new song…

Bea’s four-song set featured three tracks from this year’s excellent Beatopia album – See you Soon, Ripples and the perfect pair – before she teased that she could finish her short-but-sweet performance with her viral 2017 song Coffee… but instead, she decided to play the unreleased ‘Glue Song’, which she penned only a month ago.

Sharing the video, Bea writes: “I remember watching countless tiny desk videos in my bedroom and dreaming one day i could do it myself and it is so surreal that i had been given the opportunity to finally fulfill that dream with such talented people. beatopia will remain to be such a special record to me and singing the songs in such a special place for me was pretty crazy, glue song is my favourite love song iv written so far, no lyrics with double meanings or some weird sad undertone, just a plain and simple in your face love song, i felt so grateful being able to play it on tiny desk as it’s first little debut, and being able to share my songs with you!! thank you for everyone who made this possible!!!”

beabadoobee was joined by guitarist and backing vocalist Jacob Bugden, cellist Kristine Kruta, violinist Erica Swindell and violist Bobby Hecht – watch the full performance below:
