Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin have announced The Hanukkah Sessions!, a new eight-song series which will see the pair release a new cover every night of Hanukkah.

Fresh from their work together on Foo Fighters' upcoming album Medicine At Midnight (as well as 2017's Concrete And Gold record), Dave and producing titan Greg will be sharing renditions of songs by "eight famous Jewish artists" to celebrate the Jewish holiday.

Quiz: How much do you know about Dave Grohl?

"This year, instead of doing a Christmas song, Greg and I decided to celebrate Hanukkah by recording eight songs by eight famous Jewish artists and releasing one song each night of Hanukkah," Dave explained, adding in a tweet on Foos' account: "With all the mishegas of 2020, Greg Kurstin and I were kibbitzing about how we could make Hannukah extra-special this year. Festival of Lights?! How about a festival of tasty licks! So hold on to your tuchuses… we’ve got something special coming for your shayna punims."

Check out the video announcement below, and stay tuned – Hanukkah begins today (December 10) and ends next Friday, December 18.
