5 Dark and Sexy Songs For The Bedroom From 3TEETH’s Alexis Mincolla

3TEETH frontman Alexis Mincolla gives us his top 5 tracks for getting dark in the bedroom.

Last week marked the release of the third album from Los Angeles-based industrial metal band 3TEETH, entitled METAWAR. It’s a massive, hulking record with grooves as thick as Rammstein and vocals as biting as early Nine Inch Nails, but it also packs a political punch as the band references historical treatises to comment on the culture of escapism and skewers the current American presidential campaign by cultivating the reptilian character, President X.

Last time we caught up with frontman Alexis Mincolla, we chatted with him about the relationship between sex and darkness, two things found living in leather-clad, erotic harmony in the industrial metal world, and especially in the music and aesthetic of 3TEETH. To celebrate the release of METAWAR, we asked him to give us his favorite heavy, sexy songs to blast when he’s feeling his darkest.

Here are Alexis Mincolla’s top five dark and sexy songs to play in the bedroom — or on the dance floor before you hit the bedroom — along with commentary on why each song is so effective.

This song just reeks of psycho-spiritual tantric sex vibes. It’s pretty much a perfect soundtrack to your standard garden variety opium den orgy.”

When need a good lock step beat to match your flogging tempo in that Berlin sex dungeon, you can always rely on this tune.”

When your lady’s cup overfloweth and you have a Lycan’s thirst to drink from the chalice.”

This has to be the sleaziest death metal song ever written. It’s got that perfect lap dance tempo for when you need to grind some flesh.”

Let’s face it, sometimes you just need to scream, ‘Bend Over!’ in German at your partner to bring out that inner totalitarian in the bedroom.”
