We’ve turned 16 of our favourite bands into emojis. Can you name them all?

Nobody uses words any more, do they? It’s all about emojis these days. Aubergines, poos with eyes, cry-laughs, and a huge number of passive aggressive yellow faces to throw around your work WhatsApp group.

But emojis aren’t just perfect for throwing shade at Janet for leaving the milk out again, they can be used to turn real-life words into cryptic clues of seemingly random images. Don’t believe us? Just take our emoji quiz below!

We have turned 16 of the biggest and best bands in Kerrang!‘s world into a selection of cartoonish emotives. Some are really obvious, some are borderline evil in how difficult they are. (You should see the ones we rejected, including a frankly ridiculous Biffy Clyro one).
