What Happened When Slipknot Headlined Download 2019

Slipknot brought the Saturday of Download festival to close in inimitable fashion

It’s been a good few years, but last night Slipknot finally returned to Download festival. And not only that, but the sun actually came out for the entirety of their set.

Topping the bill over an epic main stage run of Power Trip, Behemoth, Skindred and Die Antwoord, the firebreathing nine-piece unleashed a brutal set, cherrypicking the some of the most vicious songs and downright heavy songs in their arsenal. Get This. The Heretic Anthem. Prosthetics. All slotted in perfectly alongside newies Unsainted and All Out Life as the Donington maggots went down in history once again.

Here’s the Slipknot setlist from Download Festival 2019

People = Shit
(sic)
