Last night (June 19) the world of rock came together under one roof to celebrate the best music of the past 12 months at the Kerrang! Awards 2019.

Taking place at the Islington Assembly Hall in London, just a stone's throw from Kerrang!'s London HQ, we handed out eleven awards to some of the greatest and most exciting musicians on the planet.

The glamorous ceremony (if we do say so ourself) hosted the likes of Metallica, Architects, Kelly Osbourne, Skunk Anansie, Enter Shikari, IDLES, Phil Campbell, Employed To Serve, Roger Taylor and Tobias Forge.

Oh, and bloody Jimmy Page was there! When was the last time we had members of Led Zeppelin, Motörhead, Metallica and Queen in the same room? Absolutely bonkers.

And here's what it looked like!

The 2019 Kerrang! Award winners

As well as winning big at the Kerrang! Awards, Metallica are hosting a pop-up shop at the House Of Vans in London ahead of their show at Twickenham Stadium today (June 20). Kerrang! have also teamed up with Metallica for a special exhibition, tracing the band's history through the pages of the magazine, from the garage days to present day. Head down to the House Of Vans in London until September 1 to check it out, and get your hands on some of Metallica's own Enter Night beer.
