Lars Ulrich Praises Miley Cyrus' Performance At Chris Cornell Tribute Show

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has praised pop star Miley Cyrus' performance from last week's epic Chris Cornell tribute show, I Am The Highway, in Los Angeles.

Miley – a last-minute addition, announced the day before the gig – received a ton a praise from those in attendance on Wednesday night for her performances of Chris' solo song Two Drink Minimum (a hidden song from his 2009 Scream record), and Temple Of The Dog's Say Hello 2 Heaven.

Now, Lars has also added his name to the list of Miley appreciators, posting a photo of the pair backstage on Instagram with the caption: “Miley, still stunned by your next level version of Say Hello 2 Heaven for Chris! Beyond inspiring.”

Also performing on the night were members of Soundgarden, Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age and Melvins. The tribute gig reportedly raised over $1 million for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
