Metallica And Guns N' Roses Amongst Highest Earning Musicians Of 2019

Business magazine Forbes has released its annual list of the highest-earning musicians of the year.

The top 40 list is littered with the world's biggest pop and hip-hop stars including Taylor Swift, Kanye West and Travis Scott, but stadium-destroying thrash legends Metallica made it into the top ten – earning a whopping $68.5million in 2019. This should come as no surprise, as the band's WorldWired tour (which hit Europe this summer) was named the sixth highest-grossing tour of the year, beating Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney and Spice Girls.
