Netflix Teases The Umbrella Academy Season 2 With Trippy Character Posters

Last year, Netflix scored big with The Umbrella Academy, their series based off of the graphic novels by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way. The streaming service network announced they had greenlit a second season shortly after the first premiered, and it was revealed in early December of last year that Season 2 had finished filming. Now, Netflix has officially announced the second season of The Umbrella Academy via a series of character posters on Twitter, and it looks weird and trippy -- in other words, perfect.

The first poster is just an introduction to the season as a whole, with the caption, "This time travel thing? It gets messy. The cast of Umbrella Academy is back for Season 2!" That tweet is then followed up by a series of character eye shots with a mod-ish psychedelia vibe, seemingly to represent the swirling vortex of time travel (or whatever).
