Because we might as well look like total badasses while the whole world goes down the pan, Nine Inch Nails are releasing a new range of pandemic-based merch.

The duo – Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross – have unveiled five brand-new T-shirts and one hat to wear in 2020, with NIN explaining that this merch "reflects our anxiety and anger during this unprecedented time".

The tees in question point to both COVID and politics – from the Every Day Is Exactly The Goddamned Same shirt, to a USAshamed 2020 top featuring the lyrics 'Used to stand for something' from Year Zero track Capital G.

As well as getting busy with these new merch designs, frontman Trent shared back in May that he would be working on new Nine Inch Nails music during lockdown.

"The current plan is to finish up some scoring projects, work on my limited patience skills, deep dive into new NIN material, and hopefully be playing music live for you in 2021," he said.
