Sum 41, Billy Talent, NOFX And More Added To Slam Dunk Festival 2020

Eleven bands have been announced for next year's Slam Dunk festival, including co-headliners Sum 41.

"Slam Dunk is a festival we've been wanting to do for a long time, and until now we've never been able to pull it off," frontman Deryck Whibley tells Kerrang!. "Scheduling and all that stuff has meant we've not been able to play in previous years, which has been frustrating. To finally be appearing at Slam Dunk is a great feeling – it's been a long time coming. It's something we've always wanted to do, and it's a festival I've continually heard great things about. Sum 41 playing Slam Dunk just makes sense to me."

Joining Sum 41 in today's announcement are Billy Talent, The Story So Far, Basement, Dream State and Grayscale. NOFX will also be returning with their Punk In Drublic stage alongside Pennywise.

“I don't actually remember playing last year... so we decided to do it again this year!" says NOFX's Fat Mike. "I probably still won't remember, but this time we're gonna video tape it!"

There are also two reunions happening – We Are In The Crowd and Your Demise, celebrating ten years of The Kids We Used To Be.

“This is the biggest comeback since Jesus came out the rock with more rock," says Ed Mcrae from Your Demise.

Slam Dunk North takes place on May 23, 2020 at Temple Newsam, Leeds, and Slam Dunk South rolls into Hatfield Park on May 24, 2020. Get your tickets now.
