If having the first new AC/DC record in six years to look forward to in 2020 wasn't already enough, the band have unveiled the ultimate collectible edition of the album for fans: a light-up version.

In a new video shared to the band's official pages, guitar legend Angus Young and returning frontman Brian Johnson excitedly get their hands on this latest bit of POWER UP kit, which somehow even gives Tool's Fear Inoculum (which came with HD screens and speakers) a run for its money.

A description of what is called the Collectible Lightbox teases: "The limited edition, one-of-a-kind deluxe POWER UP box is the ultimate fan package. Hit the button on the side of the box and watch the flashing neon AC/DC logo light up while the opening bars of Shot In The Dark blast out of the built-in speaker. Inside the box is the full CD package in a soft-pack with a 20-page booklet that features exclusive photos and USB charging cable allowing the box to remain powered up and on display."

Whoa.

Speaking to Rolling Stone about POWER UP, Angus revealed: “This record is pretty much a dedication to Malcolm, my brother. It’s a tribute for him like Back In Black was a tribute to Bon Scott.”

“Malcolm was always there,” continued Brian. “As Angus would say, the band was his idea. Everything in it ran through him. He was always there in your minds or just your thoughts. I still see him in my own way. I still think about him. And then in the studio when we’re doing it, you have to be careful when you look around because he seems to be there.”
