Apparently Brian Johnson Is Back In AC/DC For A New Album
Brian Johnson has rejoined AC/DC for a new album, according to LA grindcore band Terrorizer.
Posting on their official Facebook page yesterday, Terrorizer say they bumped in to the former AC/DC vocalist at an airport while returning home from a European tour. And, as pretty much everyone would say to Brian, the band asked about the rumours of his return to AC/DC… and the answer did not disappoint!
The band say: “We ran into Brian Johnson from AC/DC at the airport today after the flight home and we asked him about the rumours of him being on the new AC/DC album.
“He said ‘Yes’ and that he is ‘Sick of denying it’. So that was a cool surprise ending to the tour.”
Rumours began circulating last August about Brian Johnson and Phil Rudd returning to AC/DC after being photographed outside a studio in Vancouver.
Brian had to exit AC/DC in in 2016 after suffering serious problems with his hearing, and was replaced by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose for the subsequent tour.
AC/DC’s last studio album was 2014’s Rock Or Bust, but with rumours like this flying around, maybe we could see the Aussie giants’ seventeenth LP released later this year.
From Linkin Park to Guns N’ Roses to Paramore, these are the songs that have turned millions of people into fully-fledged rock and metal fans. And to be fair, they’re all bangers.
