Adult Swim's new metal compilation will feature new tracks by Baroness, Sunn O))), Eyehategod, and more.
Grown-up cartoon channel Adult Swim has always been a friend of metal. They were the network that gave us Dethklok and put Mastodon in the Aqua Teen Hunger Force movie intro as vicious thrash-metal theater concessions. Now, the network has released the latest edition of their Metal Swim compilation series, showcasing some of the best metal bands in the world right now, and this one has a pretty damn reputable crop of bands in it.
The new Metal Swim compilation includes new tracks by:

Adult Swim have been amping up their heavy metal output of late, having released big singles by Inter Arma and Code Orange in the past couple of years. Their fictional death metal band Dethklok also ranked at #4 on our list of the best metalhead characters in pop culture.
