Billie Joe Armstrong, Eddie Vedder And More To Appear On Global COVID-19 Benefit TV Special
A new TV special, featuring an all-star ensemble with music curation in collaboration with Lady Gaga, has been announced to support the COVID-19 Response Fund.
One World: Together At Home – which comes from Global Citizen and the World Health Organisation – will see Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder appearing alongside a whole host of other musicians, including Billie Eilish, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and John Legend.

“As we honour and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, One World: Together At Home aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19,” explains Hugh Evans, co-founder/CEO of Global Citizen. “Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else’s.”
The full list of stars appearing is as follows: Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Friends of Sesame Street, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder.
In America, One World: Together At Home will be broadcast from 8pm ET/5pm PT on April 18 via ABC, Bell Media, NBC, ViacomCBS Networks and iHeartMedia, while in the UK it will air on BBC One on April 19.
