Brooklyn Black Metal Savants Imperial Triumphant Announce First-Ever European Tour
Of the many strange and brutal black metal bands in Brooklyn, Imperial Triumphant are one of the more weird and ambitious acts. Their avant-garde sound and uncommon focus on New York’s seedy and glamorous sides sets them leagues apart from many of the other NYC acts focusing solely on grimness.
Now, Imperial Triumphant are heading to Europe for the first time in support of their 2018 Gilead Media release Vile Luxury. The tour includes an April 14th stop at Roadburn, where the band will play Vile Luxury in its entirety.
According to bassist Steve Blanco, “We always enjoy traveling through the medieval and ancient landscape of past European great works buried deep in the architecture, cathedrals, cities, concert halls, rail stations, and countryside. Equally compelling in modern times is to explore the European and Russian machine at work. Still, as Imperial Triumphant observes the power shifts throughout civilization, it is undeniably full of darkness handed down through the ages. Most of all, we look forward to bringing our golden ritual to the fans across the Atlantic!”
