This Autumn, Bulleit Bourbon the Frontier Whiskey will celebrate the European tattoo community with the launch of the Community Ink Project. Set to launch in London on September 27th before touring different venues across Europe, the Community Ink Project brings together five of the continent’s most exciting artists to create Europe’s first tattooed leather billboard.

For the Community Ink project, Bulleit commissioned Dominique Holmes in London, Ross Nagle from Ireland, Chris Henriksen from Denmark, Valentin Hirsch from Berlin and Amsterdam based artist Sara Koning to create a leather tattoo mural that has been inspired by their local city and community. Each unique design will be combined to create a 3mx2m leather tattoo billboard to create one large collaborative piece of artwork.

On the 27th September 2018, ahead of the London Tattoo Convention, of which Bulleit is an official partner, the completed leather tattoo billboard will be unveiled at a launch event at Hoxton Arches, Shoreditch. The launch party will bring all the artists together in one place, along with a selection of urban street food from low and slow BBQ specialists, Smokey Mac BBQ, music from the Hot Soles, an exclusive pop-up shop with Bulleit fashion partner The Dudes, and specially curated bourbon cocktails. The billboard will then be showcased at the London Tattoo Convention at Tobacco Docks from 28th-30th September before travelling to various locations across Europe. These will include Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Dublin.

The 10 lucky winners will also receive two day passes for the London Tattoo Convention, taking place at the Tobacco Docks.

Please note that this competition is only available for those living in the UK and over the age 18. Please do not share this with those under the legal drinking age.

The competition will run from 12pm on Wednesday, 19th September to 12pm on Tuesday, 24th September. We will be announcing the winners in the evening of the 24th September.
