With British soap Coronation Street airing an important Sophie Lancaster-inspired hate crime storyline, Bury Tomorrow frontman Dani Winter-Bates has gotten involved with the cause and written/presented his own short documentary, Identity Stories.

Speaking to the cast for the 30-minute film, the vocalist says of how it all came to be: "I was honoured to be asked to be involved in the campaign following on from Coronation Street's depiction of hate crime. Seeing what was initially wild and wonderful ideas come to fruition months later was amazing.

"All of the cast within the storyline and the team at ITV made this such an amazing experience. Hopefully it will go some way to increase the dialogue and reduce discrimination wherever it may present itself."

The film features Dani, plus Mollie Gallagher (Nina), Maximus Evans (Corey), Tanisha Gorey (Asha) and Millie Gibson (Kelly) discussing topics like mental health, identity and more.
