Candy Release Super-Stare EP

Richmond hardcore noisemongers Candy have released a new two-track 7" to celebrate their signing to Relapse Records.

The Super-Stare 7" release includes the riff-heavy title track and the breakneck onslaught of Win Free Love, which barely passes one minute 40 seconds.

"Super-Stare is agoraphobia rather than claustrophobia," say the band. "The ultimate trip; the song is a journey into a testing ground in which each living thing tries every day not to be eaten.

"As it unravels, the listener grows oppressed by the great weight of the music around them and gradually loses confidence in orderly civilisation."
