Chris Cornell Tribute Concert Announced, Featuring Members Of Soundgarden, Audioslave, And Metallica
Chris Cornell’s tragic death last year shocked and saddened fans and bandmates alike. Now, it appears those close to him will honor his legacy with a massive tribute show.
The concert, titled ‘I Am The Highway: A Tribute To Chris Cornell’, will feature performances by members of Cornell’s bands, including Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple Of The Dog. The event will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and other special guests, and members of Metallica, Foo Fighters and Ryan Adams will also attend.
The show will take place January 16, 2019, at the Los Angeles Forum in Inglewood, CA. All proceeds will go to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.
