Let's be honest with ourselves for a moment: we music fans like nothing better than showing off how much we know about our favourite subject. Don't pretend otherwise; we all know it to be true (amongst all the other things we know better than anyone, of course).
So why not put all that rock and metal knowledge to the ultimate test, once and for all? For the first time ever, Kerrang! is delighted to announce our Heavy Trivia quiz night, presented in association with our good friends at Iowa No. 9 whiskey and in partnership with Knotfest.com.
Kerrang!'s Heavy Trivia will debut on the Kerrang! and Knotfest Facebook pages on Thursday, July 16 at 9pm BST / 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT, with Kerrang!'s Sam Coare and Luke Morton as your quizmasters for multiple rounds of brain-testing action. They'll be joined by a host of famous rockstar friends, too, so make sure you and your mates join fellow music lovers all round the world for the biggest rock and metal trivia night ever!
Kerrang! editor Sam Coare says: "With the pandemic taking away our chance to meet up at gigs and festivals this year, we wanted to create an event that brought the amazing rock and metal community together, if only for an evening. We've no doubt all been subjected to mindless general knowledge trivia nights at some point over the past couple of months – questions about soap operas and capital cities and whatnot – but what, we thought, if we could host a quiz solely focused on the best thing in the world: music? And what if we could get a bunch of famous faces to join the party, too? Well, that's what the Kerrang! Heavy Trivia quiz night is all about. So cancel your plans and get ready to come hang out with us all at Kerrang! HQ – we can't wait to see fans from all over the world come together all in the name of showing off who knows more than anyone else!"
