Do You Have The Stomach To Walk Through Slipknot’s Slaughterhouse?
Slipknot have given fans a glimpse of the gruesome horrors that lurk behind the doors of the Slaughterhouse, a special event taking place in Des Moines throughout October.
Around 50 actors will be used to bring the nine-piece’s “iconology, lore and culture” to life and is definitely not for the faint of heart.
“This is a whole other world,” says Slaughterhouse owner Ian Miller. “It’s a walkthrough cinematic experience and at the Slaughterhouse, the people are the pigs. It’s the ultimate nightmare come true.”
“It’s all about the fans,” Clown told the Des Moines Register. “It’s all about our fans and these days I’m concentrating on the fans and humans that haven’t been touched yet and how to get them involved in the culture and the experience. It really is going to be a moment in our history, in their history. And our history in Des Moines.”
The horror exhibit takes place at the Barnum Factory until October 28.
